This counselor is telling small children not old enough to understand they can do whatever they want including mutilate themselves. This is your tax dollars hard at work. I am sorry for what you are dealing with. It is criminal how children are being taught pseudoscience, for example that there is such a thing as being "born in the wrong body" or that kids can choose whether they are boys or girls.

I truly, truly empathize with your situation, but I have removed the counselor's name, the school's phone number and the counselor's email address from your post. Perhaps I will reconsider at some point, but this would require more information as well as confirmation of what this counselor is doing.

There are organizations that can help you communicate with your child's school regarding how inappropriate and dangerous it is to teach kids that they can choose their sex or be born in the wrong body. One is Genspect (check out these two links in particular):
