Hello, guest.

I can't speak for the person who created this profile, but I believe these are mainly observations. We are all here trying to figure out why so many of the same type of person (in this specific thread, mainly boys and young men with many of the traits above) are taking on a transgender identity when in past generations they would not have. Of course, not every boy or young man is going to tick all the boxes, but based on what many of us are observing, it is in uncanny how many of these boys/young men do fit a good number of these traits.

There are very few real answers as to why this trend is growing and how so many kids and young adults are falling into this belief, and in order to find answers, someone qualified and impartial would need to conduct a deep-dive study into this population. However, because it is considered "transphobic" to question this trend at all, to call it a trend, to even suggest that kids would be better off if they did not have to deal with feelings of being the opposite sex or wishing they were the opposite sex, or just to point out that medical transition is not healthy for the human body, we may never get any real answers. Studies get almost immediately shut down if not preemptively cancelled due to cries of transphobia because most research institutions (universities) are captured by trans ideology and do whatever transactivists tell them they must do.

This issue is why this board exists, so parents can put our heads together and try to figure a few things out for ourselves, to gain some understanding. This forum is also here so that parents can lean on each other and support each other.

If you're a parent of a trans-identifying child, I encourage you to join as a member if you haven't already, so that you can access the full board where parents feel more comfortable to speak a little more freely than in this public section.

I've just found this forum and not shocked to see my 25yo son meets 98% of these criteria. Have tried him with 2 different therapists but he won't engage as soon as he's challenged on his beliefs. What I want to know is how do we rescue him. What's worked for other parents?
