My husband and I have been encouraging him to wait on the hormones, but he doesn't want to wait any longer. I am absolutely devastated and feel like my son is dying and I have doubts about this change since it was so sudden. Everything on the Internet and seemingly doc's and therapists just say to accept and support. I'm trying to be supportive but I hate this and I don't want it to happen. I also wonder about the combination of anxiety meds he is taking and wonder if they have anything to do with this. My mother and sisters will freak out and I don't want to tell them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.Hi Alana, same boat. Just wondering how your son is doing now and if you were able to successfully prevent him from going down this path. Desperately looking for hope.
