Hello, I am too relieved to have found this board. My 13yr old daughter has suddenly told us she is trans. She has never once shown any signs of having gender dysphoria or any inclinations of being interested at being a male prior to this. She has had a tough time since 7th grade with self esteem and bullying at school. Last year she became friends with a kid who says they are transgender. They have become very close and I did not realize that there is a growing trend in young girls doing this. My daughter cut her hair short, has purchased a binder without our knowledge or permission. She has also started telling people at school to refer to her as he/him. I honestly have no idea what to do and am terrified about what she is doing to herself.
