I know this is not a local forum. However, if there are any parents in the Seattle WA area who would like to form a parental support group in person, please reach out to me. My daughter is 14 and never had any childhood markers.

Hi, how does my membership get activated after registering? Thank you in advance!

Hi Hazaka, and welcome.

Sorry for the delay, Hazaka. Your account is now activated. Once a person registers for the site, each registration is manually approved, so sometimes it can take just a bit before an admin has a chance to get to activations.

How do I join? Daughter is RODG, history of trauma, mental health issues, immersed in social media....same same story!

I wanted to join this group to share my experience with a daughter who was convinced she was a boy when she was 16, but seems to be doing okay now away at college at 19. Please let me know if I can help anyone. I don't have a magic bullet for this problem, but hope others will have hope that it can turn around.

Thank you for your post, Luckymom.

It is WONDERFUL to hear about your daughter and how well she is doing.

I think many parents would like to learn more.

However your post is hidden here.

I think that it would get more attention if you reposted this under Our Stories, and gave it a positive title such as How My Daughter Changed Her Mind...something like that.

I, personally, am eager to read more.

Congratulations and thank you.

Hi Lucky Mom

I am so glad to hear she is doing well. When you say she is doing ok -  does she still identify as a boy or has she returned to her biological gender?  If she did return, when did that happen?
Thanks!
