Thanks for reaching out to me, and I'm not sure where the members-only area is.
I'm learning to navigate the site, so maybe you can point me in the right direction? I'll definitely look into PROGDK membership, and thanks for the recommendation on the podcasts from Sasha Ayad and Stella O'Malley. I appreciate your efforts & I'm off to a good start.

Sincerely,
Rick

Have you found anyone yet? I started bringing my daughter to [redacted] in Mesa. My therapist works there and when I started talking to her about what was going on with my daughter, she stated that their practice does not affirm and looks for a deeper problem. I started having my daughter see [redacted]. I screened her before and made it clear we were not going to be affirming and bought her a copy of Irreversible Damage that she says she has read half of so far so I think she may be able to help your daughter.

INFORMATION REDACTED TO PROTECT THE THERAPISTS NAMED. Please PM Marge for the information.

Hi, I'm new here and I'm not quite sure where to post this.

I am an 18-year-old woman who is currently struggling with "gender dysphoria". I recognize that the current dogma of transgender ideology is harmful and I am absolutely terrified of being lead down the path of medical transition when there's a possibility that I could learn to embrace my womanhood and find joy within myself. I know how controversial gender critical therapy is at the moment, but I feel like a gender critical therapist would be the best fit for me. I live in the Boston area, and I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of gender critical therapists around here. If you do, I would greatly appreciate a dm with some names! Thank you for taking the time to read this, you have my sincerest apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place. I look forward to any replies. Smile

Hello and welcome. I'm sorry you'er dealing with dysphoria and I hope you are able to find a therapist to help you through it.

You have not posted in the wrong area, but now that your account has been activated, I invite you to post in the members-only area, because forum members don't visit this public area of the forum too often. You are likely to get more responses in the members-only area.

Welcome and best wishes.

Anyone in Austin area? Beautiful Sauter is seeing an affirming counselor. She just anointed she is transgender and her counselor is telling her the typical BS. Since she is an adult I have no say. She agreed to see a psychiatrist for underlying issues.  I'm going to get one shot at this due to her age  I think she has an underlying personality disorder. Girly girl,  never any symptoms  - were in shock. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, have you had any luck?  We are also in austin and about to start therapy for my 12 year old.  Do you mind sharing who the affirming therapist is so I can make sure I avoid them.
